mocha paws is a cat café where good coffee meets the unpredictable charm of cats. a self-initiated brand built on one idea: turning a coffee break into a small experience of comfort, humour and company.

the challenge was to build a themed café that never feels caricatured. cats show up throughout the branding, but with sharp, observational humour instead of the usual over-cute clichés, because cats are adorable precisely because they are not trying to please anyone.

the concept turns the menu into language. every drink has a personality, almost like a cat of its own: the espresso is small, intense and convinced it owns the room; the mocha is a rare, affectionate cuddle. the visual system pairs a vibrant, high-contrast palette with a bold helvetica and feline illustrations full of attitude.
